Thanks for the joint efforts of our issue editor Steven D. Trocha from Greenville Health System, Greenville, USA and all authors, JGO successfully published a focus issue on Pancreatic Cancer Management. As what Dr. Tracha said, “This issue on pancreas cancer has one goal: think of the patient and their best options for long term survival!”

Dr. Morgan et al. walks us through the variety of imaging modalities with a focus on what are the strengths and weaknesses. Dr. Brosens et al. reviews the pancreatic adenocarcinoma pathology, looking for the mechanisms that lead to the aggressive tumor biology of this diagnosis. Dr. Brugge discusses the diagnosis and management of cystic lesions of the pancreas. This issue also presents the management of periampullary adenocarcinoma, robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy, laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy for adenocarcinoma, neoadjuvant therapy and pain management of pancreatic head adenocarcinomas.
