Announcing a Clinical Trial: Proton Therapy for Liver Metastases

Published: 2013-08-15

Proton therapy is a very precise form of radiation therapy. It spares healthy tissue and thus may help deliver more effective treatment to the site of disease. This study is designed to find out if a few treatments with protons will control metastases and maintain quality of life for patients whose cancers have spread to the liver.

If you have recently been diagnosed with a cancer that has spread to the liver, you will want to know all your options, including finding out if this proton therapy study is right for you.
