Common hepatic duct stricture: are lithiasis and negative brush cytology enough to rule out Klatskin tumor?

In this letter, the experience of treating a patient with clinical suspicion of hilar cholangiocarcinoma is shared and key points in differentiating from coexistent lithiasis are discussed.
