On February 16, 2019, we received the good news from Clarivate Analytics (former Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property and Science Business) that Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology (JGO) has been indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and the first impact factor will be released in the second quarter of 2020.
JGO is the 12th journal of AME Publishing Company included by SCIE, following the other eleven sister journals:

Led by Prof. Gary Yang as the Editor-in-Chief, JGO is further supported by a strong Editorial Board members. It values the international diversity of Editorial Board members and authors (figure 1, 2) to ensure the quality of published articles. By publishing high-quality articles, JGO made lots of progress in the past years, such as the article numbers (Figure 3), the growing citation and readers (Figure 4, 5).

Currently, JGO is indexed in PubMed, PubMed Central (PMC), Scopus, and Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). We can’t achieve this without the continuous support and contributions of JGO’s editorial board members, guest editors, authors, reviewers and readers. We here would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the contributors.
